It’s that time of year again, when women of horror (and a few men too) join together to create an anthology of short films in hopes that they inspire viewers to donate blood in honor of Women In Horror Recognition Month. Jen and Sylvia Soska, the sisters behind Twisted Tins Productions and films such as American Mary, See No Evil 2 and host GSN’s Hellevator, are behind the anthology. This year marks the of seventh anniversary of the PSA and it’s bigger and better than ever.
This year featured short films are directed by and star Jill Sixx Gevargizian (Call Girl), Maude Michaud (Red), Patricia Chica (Serpent’s Lullaby), Gigi Saul Guerrero (Madre De Dios), Nicole McClure, Joe Magna (Hellevator), Lisa Ovies (Puppet Killer), Andy Steweart (Dysmorphia), Tristan Risk (American Mary), Veronica Hampson and Kate Taeuschel.
Donating blood can save a life or relieve intense symptoms from disease. Did you know that one donation can save up to three lives?Contact your local Red Cross to learn more about where you can donate. For more on the Women In Horror PSA visit the official website.
