Kevin Smith’s “True North Trilogy” kicked of with the weirdly-twisted human-walrus film Tusk. The next movie in the trilogy, Yoga Hosers, will arrive on July 29th. The directer, self-described “Human Hockey Jersey”, says that the film as a “kids movie (for messed up kids)”.
Synopsis:
Colleen Collette and Colleen McKenzie are teenage besties from Winnipeg who love yoga and live on their smartphones. But when these sophomores get invited to a senior party by the school hottie, the Colleens accidentally uncover an ancient evil buried beneath their Canadian convenience store. They join forces with legendary man-hunter Guy Lapointe to fight for their lives.
The all-star cast includes Lily-Rose Melody Depp, Harley Quinn Smith, Kevin Smith, Jason Mewes, Justin Long, Haley Joel Osment, Natasha Lyonne, Tyler Posey, Austin Butler, Adam Brody, Tony Hales, and Johnny Depp, with a cameo by Stan Lee.
A new clip has just arrived that shows the Colleens and their encounter with the school hottie.
