The first images from SyFy’s new 13-episode series Van Helsing has arrived, revealing Kelly Overton as the series’ star character Vanessa Helsing, the daughter of legendary vampire hunter Abraham Van Helsing.
Vanessa is resurrected five years in the future to discover that the world has been take over by vampires and the she has a unique power over them. She is humanity’s last hope to restore the world as they knew it.
Overton stars alongside Hell on Wheels actors Jonathan Scarfe and Christopher Heyerdahl, with David Cubitt (Ray Donovan), Paul Johnansson (Mad Men) and Tim Guinee (Homeland).
Nell LaBute serves as both writer and showrunner for Van Helsing, which premieres on September 23rd on SyFy.
