Samuel L. Jackson Confirms His Role In The Blob Remake

Samuel L. Jackson, just of his tour with Kong: Skull Island, has confirmed his role in the upcoming remake of the 1958 classic The Blob. First announced back in 2015, the remake is under the direction of  Simon West (When A Stranger Calls).
In a recent interview with The Toronto Sun, Jackson confirmed that he is still signed on to co-star.

I’ve been running from or chasing King Kong, Godzilla, the Wolfman, whatever, since I was a kid [in Chatanooga, Tenn.]. We’d go home and pretend to do all that stuff. So I’m doing Kong for the same reason I’ll probably be doing The Blob. I just got a call the other day (where the producers) said they finally got their money from China to do Blob.”

The site also revealed that The Blob will film before Jackson films his part of Avengers: Infinity War.
Jackson will play the role of a Biochemistry Professor In the film Jackson’s character volunteers to find a way to stop The Blob, an organism from space that develops into a big jello type creature that consumes everything in its path.
