Syfy’s Sharknado franchise has always brought in killer ratings for Syfy. For fans, the over the top special effects and the huge number of stars that make cameos in each film make the franchise a favorite.
Fans will be excited to learn that Sharknado 5 will be coming our way this August, from returning director Anthony C. Ferrante, based on the script by Scotty Mullen.
Ian Ziering and Tara Reid will reprise their roles as shark slaying masters Fin and April. With much of America lying in ruins, the rest of the world braces for a global sharknado, Fin and the rest of his family must travel around the world to stop them.

Cassandra Scerbo, Masiela Lusha, Cody Linley, David Naughton, Russell Hodgkinson, Jena Sims, Daniel Eghan, Benny Bereal, Jag Patel, and Kate Garraway are just a few of the stars that will make an appearance. More names should be announced as the sequel approaches its premiere.
Batten down the hatches, Sharknado 5 will arrive on Sunday, August 6, 2017.
