CREPITUS Vs. IT – Two Creepy Clown Films Approaching Release

From Ginger Knight Entertainment comes the dark film Crepitus, starring Bill Moseley as a terrifying, immortal, child eating clown. Haynze Whitmaore directs from the script penned by Eddie Renner and Sarah Renner. Scott Gimple Joins FEAR THE WALKING DEAD – Renewed For Season 4

With the announcement for Fear the Walking Dead’s renewal for season four came another piece of information, the show will be getting three new members of the team for the fourth season. The Walking Dead’s current showrunner Scott Gimple will be will joining Fear the Walking Dead as an executive producer. That’s not the only change for season four. The spin-off series’ present showrunner, Dave Erickson, will be exiting. Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg will be taking over Erickson’s duties as co-showrunners. Hopefully, the changes will turn FTWD around, because let’s face it, it’s in desperate need of fresh blood. Season 3 of Fear the Walking Dead premieres on June 4th, followed by The Walking Dead’s 8th season premiere this October.

GARDEN PARTY MASSACRE Showcases Suburban Carnage in First Trailer

Garden Parties are often un-fun affairs; badly cooked hotdogs, shitty conversation with strangers, and warm beer served in plastic cups normally add up to a good time. But at the very least, your average get together doesn’t involve a homicidal bald man with a pickaxe. From director Gregory Blair, Garden Party Massacre’s first trailer makes the film seem like it’s going to be a seriously meta (and seriously funny) little horror comedy. Some of the trailers best moments; “Wes and I are vegetarians.” “You don’t eat meat?” “Well I wouldn’t say that.” “Where did he get a pickaxe in suburbia?” “I was married once, but he died.” “Suicide?” And of course there’s that badass theme song that plays at the end. Beauty And The Beast Director To Bring THE BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN Remake To Life

Bill Condon recently brought Disney’s classic tale Beauty and the Beast to life, which has brought in over $1 billion at the box office. Now, he want to bring another classic to the big screen, the remake of Universal’s The Bride of Frankenstein. Deadline reports that Condon is currently in talks with Universal Studios to direct the remake of the 1935 black and white film. While nothing has been finalized, it is being said that both sides of the table are very excited about the project. Condon is no stranger to the horror genre, he directed Candyman: Farewell to the Flesh, the Twilight Saga part 1 and 2, and Gods and Monsters. Alex Kurtzan and Chris Morgan are spearheading Universal’s new monster universe. During Robert Englund’s Q&A panel at this past weekend’s Monsterpalooza convention, Englund spoke about his role in Patricio Valladares’ supernatural thriller Nightworld, which he called one of scariest scripts he’s read in a long time. And when Robert Englund says something is scary, I believe him. After all, he is Freddy Krueger. VMI Worldwide has snagged the rights to Nightworld, co-starring Jason London. M. Night Shyamalan’s Psychological Thriller SPLIT Arriving On Blu-ray And DVD

One of this year’s most talked about films is M. Night Shyamalan’s psychological thriller Split, is arriving on Blu-ray and DVD later this month. James McAvoy stars as a kidnapper with split personalities, 23 of them to be exact. McAvoy has starred in many great roles, such as his lead role as Victor in 2015’s Victor Frankenstein , Charles Xavier in X-Men Days of Future Past and X-Men First Class, and Wesley in Wanted. Back in January, Horrorfuel.com did an interview with John Poranova about his new Sasquatch film Hunting Grounds. Todd Sheets Returns To Horror With The Practical FX Werewolf Film BONEHILL ROAD

One of the things that made werewolf films from the past so great was the practical effects. Unlike CGI, practical fx gave the creatures a more realistic feel. There is real craftsmanship to pfx creatures. Todd Sheets (Grindsploitation, Hi-8) is returning to the genre with his upcoming film Bonehill Road, which will feature practical fx werewolves.
