Stephen King fans will be excited to learn that the premiere date for television adaption or Mr. Mercedes has now been announced.
David E. Kelley’s series adaption stars Brendan Gleeson, Harry Treadaway, Jharrel Jerome, Mary-Louise Parker, Scott Lawrence, Kelly Lynch, Justine Lupe, Ann Cusack, Holland Taylor, Robert Stanton, and Breeda Wool. The series is directed by Jack Bender (Game of Thrones).
Kelley both penned the scripts and serves as showrunner. Bender and Kelley serve as executive producers with Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey of Temple Hill Entertainment.
Mr. Mercedes centers on a demented killer who taunts a retired police officer with a series of letters and emails, forcing the cop to set out on a private crusade to bring the killer to justice.
