A decade has passed since the Allies achieved victory over the Axis Powers in World War II, but now a new arms race beginning to take shape. NATO and Allied Forces come together in a joint effort to win or at the very least stay ahead of said arms race. Taking a cue from Hitler’s playbook, these combined forces delve into the occult. With little or no true understanding of the otherworldly power they seek to utilize, there could literally be hell to pay for their meddling. And with Pandora’s Box now open, so to speak, the world faces a greater threat than it has ever known. This is where Frances comes in. Lead Role Cast For Stephen King And J.J. Abram’s CASTLE ROCK

We first reported Hulu’s upcoming series Castle Rock from Master of Horror Stephen King and brilliant director J. J. Abrams back in February. Today, we have casting news. Moonlight’s André Holland has been cast as the lead and will play a death row attorney with a complicated history, in the series set in King’s multiverse in a fictional town in King’s beloved Maine. Not only did Holland star in the Moonlight, which took home an Oscar for Best Picture, he also appeared in the Cinemax series The Knick, and as co-stared as Matt Miller in American Horror Story: Roanoke. Dustin Thomason and Sam Shaw developed Castle Rock, set to begin filming later this year, based on characters created by King. They also will serve as executive producers along with Ben Stephenson, Liz Glotzer, and J. J. Abrams. The series is from Warner Bros. and Bad Robot.

Crow, filmed in Wales, centers on a wealthy developer who is attempting to remove the settlers on his newly acquired land, but soon he finds that it has dire consequences. Andrew Howard co-stars alongside Nick Moran, Danny Webb, Terence Stamp, Elen Rhys, Jason Hughes, Emily Bevan, Tom Rhys Harries, Katrine De Candole, Ben McGregor, and Maarten Dannenberg. Wyndham Price directed from the script he wrote based on the stage play by Tim Rhys.

Yet Another TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE Reboot Gets a Release Date

I love The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. There’s a good chance you love The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. In fact, I’d guess it would be pretty hard to find a horror fan that doesn’t love, or at least respect, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Now all that being said, do we really need another reboot? Well the good folks over at Lionsgate apparently think so, because were getting reboot number four! As far as the poster goes I will say I hate the feeling of wet socks, although I’m still not sure a puddle and skinny shins were the right direction to take. The plot itself, set to follow a teenage Leatherface breaking out of an asylum and kidnapping a nurse, doesn’t excite me either. While part of me wonders a little if his masks ever get adolescent acne, mostly it’s just boring. After all, isn’t that what a hulking, cousin fucking cannibal in a skin mask needs; and in-depth examination of what

THE EXORCIST Renewed By FOX!

As FOX’s The Exorcist began to approach its season finale fans were praying it would be renewed, but that wasn’t the case. Even the show’s creator Jeremy Slater expressed his desire for a second season, but still nothing. We had all pretty much given up hope that we would ever see the story’s next chapter. But today, FOX has answered our prayers and granted the show a second season! Season two of the supernatural series, loosely tied to William Friedkin’s iconic film, will begin a new chapter. Slater told fans last year that he wanted to feature the priests teaming up to help a new family. A potential season two would find Marcus, Tomas and Bennett tasked with helping a new family or a new case of possession. That doesn’t mean we’ll never see any of the Rances again, but I think the fans would feel disappointed and cheated if we simply brought Captain Howdy back for round three. The

New Dinosaur Named After Ghostbusters’ Terror Dog

Victoria Arbour and David C. Evans, researchers at the Royal Ontario Museum, have discovered a new species of dinosaur and named it after one of Ghostbuster’s “terror dog”, Zuul. The reason the name was picked, because it resembles the dog-like demons in the first Ghostbuster movie. The beast, an ankylosaurine, whose scientific name is Zuul Crurivastator, which means “destroyer of shins”, had a sledgehammer-like tail that was used during battle and mating. Me and my co-author David Evans were batting around ideas for what to name it, and I half-jokingly said, “It looks like Zuul from Ghostbusters,” Arbour told CBC News. “Once we put that out there we couldn’t not name it that.” Zuul, who lived 75-million-years ago, caught the attention of Dan Aykroyd who played Ray Stantz and co-wrote the film and he visited the museum to see the creature for himself. We’re so honored that the Royal Ontario Museum would accord the name of this magnificent creature with

AMERICAN GODS Renewed After A Fantastic Start

Neil Gaiman’s American Gods, based on his books by the same title, has only been on the air for two weeks and is already getting a lot of attention, so much that it has just been renewed for season 2, thank god(s). I can only describe the series as brilliant, bold, beautiful, and nothing like we have ever seen before. The story lines keep you hanging on every line of the character’s dialogue. Even the violence, and there is a lot of it, is executed as if it were art. The cinematography, at the hands of Darren Tiernan, Jo Williams, and Aaron Morton, is simply elegant. There is sex, brutality, war, love, passion and mystery. What more could you want? In a world filled with gods, both old and new, we have been introduced to our central character, Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittle), who is fresh out of prison and mourning the death of his wife Laura (Emily Browning). He is
