The Found Footage Thriller ‘The Documentary’ Coming To Digital

Terror Films is poised to unveil the found footage style thriller The Documentary this week, a twisted tale of obsession, lies and danger in a film that had no script. From the Press Release: LOS ANGELES, CA (August 21, 2017) – Terror Films is set to release THE DOCUMENTARY onto digital platforms this Tuesday, August 22. The film was written and directed by Walter Moise (producer/editor of the award winning sci-fi indie Counter Clockwise). The cast is comprised of Tristin Rupp, Jake B. Miller, and Aaron Bowden. Through a found footage aesthetic, the story follows Sandra Novak (Rupp) who has agreed to be the subject of a documentary film. The documentary deals with “conquering fear.” Unbeknownst to her, the filmmaker that has chosen her may have ulterior motives as he infiltrates her home and begins to gather information to sabotage her relationship and her life. Sonny Landham And My Personal Connection With ‘Predator’

Many fans were saddened last Friday to hear of the passing of Sonny Landham. Mr. Landham starred in films like 48 hours, The Warriors and one of my favorite adventure flicks from the 80s, Firewalker. However, it was his role as “Billy” in 1987’s Predator that he’s best remembered for. Sonny Landham was 76 when he passed. I mentioned that fans were saddened at his passing, and I’m certainly one of them. But for me, it’s more than just mourning the loss of a memorable character. You see, I have a special place in my heart for Predator, and it’s tied to my military service. It started back when I was just a private in the Army National Guard, and it was a time when we were still expected to shine our boots prior to stepping out the door in uniform. Green Apple Films has just announced the release date for the gore-filled slasher Pinwheel from director Daniel Dahlstrom who co-wrote the movie with Darren O’Brian. ‘Unbreakable’ Sequel ‘Glass’ Release Official Plot Synopsis Revealed

Perhaps the biggest twist of Split (other than that M. Night Shamalama-ding-dong finally released another decent film) is how it’s a sequel too 2000 superhero film Unbreakable. But not that the secrets out, a third film, named Glass, the title of Samuel L. Jackson’s villain, is officially in the works, with a plot synopsis giving us a hint where the movie might be heading. “Following the conclusion of SPLIT, GLASS finds David Dunn pursuing Kevin Wendell Crumb’s superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Elijah Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.” James McAvoy is confirmed to return as The Beast, with both Jackson and Willis reprising their roles from Unbreakable as well. Florence Hartigan Talks UFOs And Her Role In ‘Phoenix Forgotten’ In An Interview

I recently sat down with Florence Hartigan to talk about her role in Phoenix Forgotten, produced by Ridley Scott. The film centers on a group of friends investigating a UFO sighting. Hartigan plays the role of Sophie in the sci-fi film based on a true story. The film was inspired by the real-life story of a group that went into the desert after mysterious lights were seen by hundreds of thousands of people on March 13, 1997 in the sky above Phoenix, Arizona. Known as “The Phoenix Lights”, the event is the world’s most famous and widely viewed sighting in history. The film centers on 3 teens who who go out into the desert shortly after the incident, hoping to document the strange events occurring in their town, but were never seen again. Episode Titles Reveal A Crazy 13th Season For ‘Supernatural’

‘Supernatural’ will be returning this fall for its 13th season. The title of the episodes how has now been released and reveal a little of what we can expect. Episode 13.01 – “Lost and Found” Episode 13.02 – “The Rising Sun” Episode 13.03 – “Patience” Episode 13.04 – “The Big Empty” Episode 13.05 – “Advanced Thanatology” Episode 13.06 – “Tombstone” Episode 13.07 – “War of the Worlds” Episode 13.08 – “The Scorpion and the Frog” Episode 13.09 – “The Bad Place” Episode 13.10 – “Wayward Sisters” Episode 13.16 – “ScoobyNatural” Episode 10 will be an opening for the new spin-off series ‘Wayward Sisters’. BBC Adapting ‘The Birds’ For New Series

There are a lot of series adaptations on TV these days. Now, one of Alfred Hitchcock’s most famous films is being added to the list, Hitchcock’s 1963 classic The Birds, well, sort of. Word has come that the BBC is gearing up to make a series adaption of The Birds which will take inspiration directly from Daphne du Maurier’s novella that the famous film was based on. Instead of focusing on Hedrin’s character, the series will center on a farmhand and the residents of a small town in Cornwall, England, plagued by a swarm of birds just after WWII. We should hear casting news soon.

Terror Films Unleashes ‘I Know You’re In There’

Terror Films has released the second of three horror titles slated for this month, writer-director Robert Lawson Gordon’s I Know You’re in There. Starring Will Hurst, Mindee de Lacy, and Karin Lee, the film “tells the tale of Tom Redding who, after his mother’s suicide, discovers that he has a sister. She is completely paralyzed and unable to speak, however. Together, they travel to their dead mother’s isolated home – where Tom hopes to document his sister’s illness. Their travels are disrupted by an unexpected twist, that forces them to face a mad and supernatural evil.” I Know You’re in There is now available in select theaters and available on digital.
