New Teasers Arrive For Channel Zero: No-End House Claim You Will Be Eaten Alive

The second season of ‘Channel Zero’ is approaching. Titled ‘Channel Zero: No-End House’, the series has unveiled several disturbing teasers and we have the latest 3. Inspired by Brian Russell’s Creepypasta story, and starring Amy Forsyth, Aisha Dee, and John Carroll Lynch, this season centers on a young woman named Margot Sleator who visits the No-End House, a place filled with terrors, where each room is more frightening than the last. Nick Antosca serves as writer, showrunner and executive producer for the show directed by Steven Piet. Max Landis also executive producers. It’s very different stylistically. It’s very restrained. The Brooklyn Horror Film Festival returns to New York City October 12th -15th, bringing with it more ghouls and ghosts than ever before. ‘Conjuring’ Short Film Winner ‘The Nurse’ Announced (Watch It Here)

Last month, a short film contest for Annabelle: Creation (review), from director David F. Sandberg, was announced. Filmmakers were asked to create a short film, lasting 2 minutes or less, that would fit into The Conjuring universe. Filmmaker Julian Terry’s The Nurse has been named the winner for the US portion with his film The Nurse. The UK and Mexico winners are still out. As part of his prize, he will be going on an all-expense paid trip to Hollywood where he will meet with New Line Cinema and David F. Sandberg. In the terrifying short a young girl with her eyes bandaged feels as if she’s not alone. At some point, everyone has had that feeling, like they were not alone in the dark and that something terrible is lurking close by and terror sets in. That is was the girl is feeling. Javier Botet Gets A Grip On The Poster For ‘Freehold’

Javier Botet is a name every horror fan should recognize. Botet has appeared in so many genre films as the monsters we love to fear, including in films like Cabin in the Woods, Mama, and The Conjuring 2 where he brought the Crooked Man to life. Botet will next appear in Freehold, whose American title is Two Pigeons. This time, Botet will appear without the layers of makeup and costumes, as himself. The poster (above) for Freehold has been unveiled ahead of its premiere at Horror Channel FrightFest next week. In the poster Botet gets a grip on a building. ‘Goodnight, Gracie’, A Chilling Wide-Awake Nightmare

Goodnight, Gracie, a new short film written and directed by Stellan Kendrick, is a creepy, beautifully filmed, horrific tale about faith, family, childhood fears, and things that go bump in the night. The cast and crew screening for Goodnight, Gracie, was held at Evidence Film Studios in Los Angeles, a fantastic venue that the film’s producers had taken full advantage of. Moody multi-colored lights everywhere, music pumping, specialty film-themed cocktails flowing, clips of various well known, and not so well known horror films clips played on the white cyclorama that took up the huge corner of the warehouse style space, and concept art and storyboards covered the walls like a bloody murderous East Village art show. There were about 100 people in attendance, dressed to the nines, laughing and buzzing around the space, taking photos with the movie props in front of the faux brick wall step-and-repeat with the ingenious self-taking photo set up. Gizmo May Be In Danger In The Completed Script For ‘Gremlins 3’

Chris Columbus (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone) has finished his script for Gremlins 3. Everything indicates we will witness a much darker tale than with the first two films. There is even a rumor that Gizmo is in danger and might be killed in order to protect the human race from the Gremlins the adorable creature can spawn. Columbus himself has said that the script is “as twisted and dark as anything”. He has stated that he “wanted to go back to the really twisted sensibility of the first movie.” I’m really proud of the script. It is as twisted and dark as anything, so we’ll see. It’s always a budgetary conversation when we’re going to shoot it. I wanted to go back to the really twisted sensibility of the first movie. Anna Margaret Cast In Slasher ‘Dead Slate’

Dead Slate, the upcoming slasher from writer-producer Kerry Fleming has now announced that actress Anna Margaret has signed on the star. Margaret most recently co-starred in Fleming’s feature Rock Paper Dead, directed by Tom Holland, as “Zoe”. Fleming co-wrote Rock Paper Dead with Victor Miller, writer/creator of Friday the 13th. Margaret also had a recurring role on Ryan Murphy’s series ‘Scream Queens’ as “Coco Cohen”. Dead Slate takes viewers behind-the -scenes on the set of a horror film and follows its production as murder and mayhem stalk the cast and crew on and off the set.
