Movie Review: ‘Man Underground’ Is More Human Drama Than Sci-Fi…And That’s OK

Willem Koda is reclusive and a tad socially awkward. He worked as a geologist on a project for the US government, and during his tenure encountered extra terrestrials. Now he speaks to groups with like minded interests, although there are some who would refer to him as a conspiracy theorist, based on his personal accounts about the existence of aliens and the role of the government in covering it up. Willem intends to turn the story surrounding his alien encounters into a film, and enlists his one true friend, Todd, to help him in this endeavor. During a one of his routine daily meals at the local diner, Willem meets a young twenty-something waitress named Flossie. ‘Jeepers Creepers 3’ Coming To Theaters SOON

After 14 years the next installment of the Jeepers Creepers franchise is headed our way, a lot sooner than we thought it would be. Even after writer-director Victor Salva’s trouble, the franchise’s fans are still excited about Jeepers Creepers 3 which is set in between the original and part 2, a direct sequel to the first film, and will follow a group of hunters looking to stop the creature. Meg Foster, Gina Philips, Carrie Lazar, Michael Papajohn, Stan SHaw, Chester Rushing, Joyce Giraud, Brandon Smith, Gabrielle Haugh, Jordan Salloum, Ryan Moore, Me Wright, and Patrick Thomas Cragin star. Sometimes when it comes to getting credit where credit is due, a person is left out in the cold without said deserved recognition. Frankly, my Little Monsters, that doesn’t sit well with me. And it’s something that today’s wonderful Woman of Horror had to experience in relation to what can be considered to be arguably her most famous cinematic contribution, but we’ll get into that momentarily. Eileen Dietz was born in Bayside, New York, and is one of three daughters in her family. She is one of a pair of identical twins, so when it comes down to which of the two is the oldest it’s most likely negligible, as they were likely born within mere minutes of one another. A Summer Staple Get’s Scary With ‘THE ICE CREAM TRUCK’

Skidding end at the tail end of the summer horror season comes ‘THE ICE CREAM TRUCK’, one of the creepiest looking indie films I’ve ever seen. There’s something about suburbia that’s never sat well with me. Behind picket fences and backyard barbecues, there’s always something sinister brewing, festering and growing strong in the deceit. Those cookie cutter houses on the outskirts of the city are supposed to be safe, a place where children run and play, old men feed pigeons, young couples kiss under the stars. While it would have been nice to have Bruckner’s Friday the 13th movie which was canceled just weeks before it was set to begin filming, The Ritual looks like it is going to be solid film. In the film, four friends from college head off into the Scandinavian wild in an effort to get away from it all and reconnect with each other. Another ‘Nosferatu’ Remake Is One More Nail In The Coffin Of Genre Creativity

Nosferatu- this is a word you’re all familiar with, isn’t that right my Little Monsters? The word has about as many explanations regarding its meaning and origin as there have been films made about the creature the word represents. Frankly, fans of vampire movies aren’t likely to care much about the word’s true origin, as much as they will care about sub-par movie representations of their favorite blood sucking creatures of the night. One can safely say that Vampire movies have always been something of a cash cow for studios. Especially since, for better or worse, filmmakers are always finding new ways to keep said subject matter alive, or perhaps undead would be a better way of putting it. Walking Dead Producers File Suit Against AMC – Is This The Beginning Of The End ?

We all know that AMC’s ‘The Walking Dead’ is a HUGE success. And of course with success comes the desire for people to get what they believe they deserve. The executive producers of TWD have filed suit against AMC. Frank Darabont, the show’s creator, filed a lawsuit back in 2013 following his termination halfway through the second season. Darabont claims that AMC denied him profits promised from the series by the network. Now, the show might really be in trouble. Comic book creator and series co-creator Robert Kirkman along with executive producers Gale Anne Hurd, David Alpert, and Glen Mazzara have filed suit against AMC making similar claims as Darabont. The group are challenging the amount AMC pays its in-house studio, AMC Studios, THR reports. ‘The Walking Dead’ is not the only series that could be affected. Both ‘Fear the Walking Dead’, and ‘Talking Dead’ are also included in the suit. This case arises from a major entertainment conglomerate’s failure
