Following his starring role in My Friend Dahmer Ross Lynch is set to play the male lead in Netflix’s upcoming “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” series from Roberto Aquirre-Sacasa.
Based on the comic series The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, the series finds Sabrina (Kiernan Shipka) wrestling to reconcile her dual nature, half-witch and half-human, all while standing against evil forces that threaten her, her family and the human world.
Lynch will play the role of Harvey Kinkle, Sabrina’s boyfriend. The son of a coal miner, Harvey is oblivious to the dark forces trying to pull them apart.
The series is from the team behind “Riverdale”, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, Berlanti Productions, and Warner Bros. Television. Aquirre-Sacasa penned the script for the pilot which Lee Toland Krieger will direct.
