It seems our wild ride with jefe and deadite slayer Ash Williams has come to an end. It’s with a heavy heart that we report that Starz has canceled “Ash vs Evil Dead” (*tear falls).
Bruce Campbell posted a message shortly ago via his Twitter account:
Ash Vs Evil Dead has been the ride of a lifetime. Ash Williams was the role of a lifetime.
I will always be grateful to Starz, Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert and our tireless fans for the opportunity to revisit the franchise that launched our careers. Thank you! 😎 pic.twitter.com/oNmTopS1Ab

This will be the last season for “Ash vs Evil Dead”. It breaks our hearts to know we will soon say goodbye to Campbell’s Ash Williams, Pablo (Ray Santiago), Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo), Ash’s daughter Brandy (Arielle Carver-O’Neill), and that demonic Ruby (Lucy Lawless).
The season finale on April 29 at p.m. will be the show’s last episode. That night we will witness the Ghostbeaters be put to the ultimate test and last effort to save the world from a global demon infestation.
Bruce Campbell first appeared as Ash back in 1981 in Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead. Raimi also served as a writer, director, and producer for ”Ash vs Evil Dead”.
On this week’s episode of “Ash vs Evil Dead”…
Ash Williams, we’re going to miss you!
