Alexandre Aja, the director behind High Tension, The Hills Have Eyes, and Horns, is set to deliver the creature feature Crawl for Paramount.
THR is reporting that Maze Runner actress Kaya Scodelario has now entered into negotiations to star in the film about “a young woman, who while struggling to save her father during a Category 5 hurricane, finds herself trapped inside a flooding house, fighting for her life against Florida’s most savage and feared predators (an alligator).”

Evil Dead creator Sam Raimi will be producing along with Craig Flores (300: Rise of an Empire).
Crawl follows up Paramount’s’ highly-successful film A Quiet Place, which has grossed over $236 at box offices so far. Its sequel has just been announced.
