Freestyle Digital Media, the digital film distribution division of Byron Allen’s Entertainment Studios, is set to release LIVE on Digital HD globally next month.

The film centers on the story of private detective Eddie Hill, hired to find Linda Johnson, whose abduction was live-streamed on Facebook. Soon Eddie witnesses the terror of the Dark Web.

Written and directed by Michael V. Greene, LIVE features an ensemble cast including: Kellie Greene (‘Linda’), Eddie B. Hill (“Eddie’), Asante Jones (Sergeant Culvert), Giovanni Lopes (Detective Ceda), Sean McBride (‘Patrick’) Norman Towns (‘Josh’), and Taylor Dunn (‘Claire’).  Michael V. Greene, Sean McBride, and Sentwali Holder produced.

Freestyle Digital Media Acquisitions Director, Rachel Koehler, negotiated the acquisition deal for LIVE directly with filmmaker Michael V. Greene.

What’s special about LIVE is how we created this living, breathing universe in Linda Johnson’s Facebook timeline and married that real source material with a worst-case social media scenario,” said filmmaker Michael v. Greene. “The result is not just creepy cool, but an interactive found footage film experience unlike anything you’ve ever seen before. Right away, we knew Freestyle Digital Media was the perfect partner to share our vision with a true VOD audience.”

Live is a creepily engaging thriller,” said Rachel Koehler, Acquisitions Director for Freestyle Digital Media. “We are glad to make LIVE available to viewers across global digital platforms in September.”

Visit the official website for LIVE for more on the film. LIVE will arrive on Digital HD around the world on September 18, 2018.
