The fall season is the time of year every horror fans waits for, when horror films and series flood theaters and on our TVs.

The Purge – September 4 USA

                                          

Set in an America ruled by a totalitarian government, “The Purge” follows several characters living in a small city. During the 12 hour period, each character is forced to discover how far they will go to survive the night.
 
 

American Horror Story: Apocalypse – September 12, FX

 

 
Anti-Christ, Michael Langdon, played by Cody Fern (The Assassination of Ghianni Versace: American Crime Story).
The trailer comes on the heels of the announcement that Jessica Lange will be returning alongside Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Kathy Bates, Joan Collins, Cheyenne Jackson, Billie Lourd, Leslie Grossman, Billy Eichner, and Adina Porter.
 
 

Haunted Live – September 14 Travel Channel

 

 
Haunted Live” invites ghost lovers to join a LIVE paranormal investigation alongside the Tennessee Wraith Chasers (interview), a team of paranormal experts that relies on a combination of scientific methods and faith to navigate their investigations.
 
 
 

Into the Dark – October 5 Hulu

 

 
Written by Davis and Paul Fischer, the series follows “A sophisticated hitman with a cynical view on modern society finds his work made more difficult when he has to transport a body on Halloween night, but everyone is enamored by what they think is his killer costume.
Tom Bateman, Rebecca Rittenhouse, David Hull, Aurora Perrineau and “Ash vs Evil Dead” actor Ray Santiago star.
 
 

The Walking Dead – October 7 AMC

 

 
The ninth season of The Walking Dead will be the last for multiple stars including Andrew Lincoln and Lauren Cohen. We will be introduced to a new terrifying group known as the Whisperers. Sons of Anarchy actor Ryan Hurst has come on board to play the role of the Whisperers’ second in command.
 
 
 

Supernatural – October 11 The CW

 

 
The boys are back this October for their fourteenth season, yes you read that right, fourteenth. As always Sam and Dean are on a mission to the world and everyone they love. The question is will we see more on the apocalypse world? I’d bet a bottle of bourbon and piece of pie we will. Hopefully, Jack can help out. After making a risky deal with Michael they’ll need all the help they can get.

The Haunting of Hill House – October 12 Netflix

 

 
The new adaptation of Shirley Jackson‘s novel Hill House centers on a family in both modern day and in the past as they face ghosts both of their past and the kind that go bump in the night.
Created, directed and executively produced by Mike Flanagan (Gerald’s Game, Oculus), the series stars Michael Huisman, Carla Gugino, Timothy Hutton, Elizabeth Reaser, and Henry Thomas.
 
 
 

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina – October 26 Netflix

 

 
Created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and based on a comic book series of the same name, this take on Archie Comics character Sabrina Spellman will be very different and much darker than the the‘90s sitcom.
The series stars Kiernan Shipka, Mirando Otto, Ross Lynch, Michelle Gomez, and many more.
 
 

Castlevania – October 26 Netflix

 

 
The first season of Castlevania ended with a huge cliffhanger.  Luckily season 2 isn’t far away and will be getting 8 episodes this time around. Graham McTavish lends his voice to Dracula, the vampire angry at humanity for the death of his wife.
 
 

Stan Against Evil – October 31 IFC

 

 
 
A giant moth, evil puppets, undead cameos, and a lot more await you this season on one of TV’s best horror series, “Stan Against Evil“!
John C. McGinley stars as the curmudgeonly retired police sheriff Stan Miller who faces evil alongside Janet Varney as Evie Barrett, the current sheriff of Willard’s Mill. The two are determined to wipe out the demons that plague their quaint New England Town, along with a slate of all-new guest stars. Currently in production in Atlanta, GA, the third season returns with eight all-new episodes.
