Hulu is bringing Anne Rice‘s “Vampire Chronicles” to life in new original series. The book series was co-written by Rice’s son Christopher.
Bryan Fuller, the showrunner for both “Star Trek: Discovery” and “American Gods” was attached earlier this year to write the script but has since stepped away, THR reports.
The book series, which includes “Interview with the Vampire” follows an 18th-century French Nobleman Lestat de Lioncourt who becomes a vampire, travels the world, and even becoming a rock star. The 12th book in the series, “Blood Communion: A Tale of Prince Lestat” will be out later this year.
