Capcom knows fans are chomping at the bit impatiently for the January 25th release of Resident Evil 2, so they’ll be releasing a demo free to download for fans!

For a limited time (January 11th – January 31st) players on Steam, PS4, and Xbox One will have the chance to get the demo known as 1-Shot Demo where they can play as Leon S. Kennedy and try to escape the zombie-infested Raccoon City PD Station in 30 minutes.

If you complete the 30-minute demo, you can go back and play it again, if you don’t survive, you’ll still get a chance to continue till you do. At the end of the demo, players are rewarded with a brand new trailer for Resident Evil 2. After the period that the sample is available, it will no longer be accessible to play but the trailer you unlock can still be viewed.

Resident Evil 2 will infest stores on January 25 and will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows.
