After waiting ten years for a sequel to Zombieland, it appears we’ll have to wait an extra week, Zombieland: Double Tap will arrive in theaters a week later than previously announced, it’s moved from October 11th to October 18th.

Ruben Fleischer is back in the director’s chair for the sequel that will see the return of all four of its stars, Emma Stone, Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, and Abigail Breslin. The ragtag crew of survivors will be joined by Zoey DeutchAvan Jogia, Luke Wilson, and Rosario Dawson.

“In this next installment, through comic mayhem that stretches from the White House and through the heartland, the zombie slayers must face off against many new kinds of zombies that have evolved since the first movie, as well as some new human survivors. But most of all, they have to face the growing pains of their own snarky, makeshift family.”

Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese returned to pen Double Tap‘s script and both of whom will also serve as exec producers. Gavin Polone is also back to produce the film.

Now, we wait for the trailer…
