Following her breakout role in Jordan Peele’s Us (review) Lupita Nyong’o stars as a schoolteacher in the horror-comedy Little Monsters, written and directed by Abe Forsythe (Down Under). The new trailer reveals the military gearing up to battle the undead and a field trip gone wrong.


Nyong’o plays Miss Caroline, a teacher who fights to protect her students from a zombie outbreak during a field trip gone to hell.


Miss Caroline teams up with Dave (Alexander England), a washed-up musician, and kids’ show host Teddy McGiggle (Josh Gad) to defeat zombies while trying to keep her students unaware of the outbreak.


Little Monsters, which premiered at Sundance will hit theaters in the U.K. and Ireland on November 15th. A U.S. release date has yet to be announced.
