George Young, who starred in the movie Grace and the series “Containment”, has been cast as the male lead in James Wan‘s upcoming horror film, currently in production under the working title Silvercup, according to Coming Soon.
Young joins previously announced cast member Annabelle Wallis (The Mummy) who starred in Annabelle, which Wan produced.
The film’s plot, which is still being kept a secret, is based on a story by Wan and his fiancee Ingrid Bisu (The Nun). Wan will be producing under his Atomic Monster banner along with Michael Clear.
Starlight Media and Midas Innovation are financing the project and will distribute in China with New Line covering the rest.
Production is set to begin this fall in Los Angeles.
