Along with news of the release comes information about the release date for the third episode of the game coming December 13th (ON A FRIDAY). The devs also would like to remind PC gamers that along with buying the base game, if they buy the Complete Nightmare Pass (season pass) that’s sold separately they don’t have to buy the (5) episodes individually. Also for a limited time, there’s a sale on for the Founder Limited Edition, this includes the base game AND season pass, the sale ends December 31st. The console version will not be episodic like the PC version as it will have all five episodes included.

Players experience a call back to older horror games as they play one of 13 playable characters that when one dies, it’s permanent! Players explore creepy locations as they try to solve the mystery surrounding the disappearance of writer Sebastian P. Husher and his family. Players are stalked by the “Presence”, a dark supernatural force, with advance AI being used for the Presence it adapts to player’s play styles so it’s never going to scare you the same way twice!
