The official poster and new images from A24’s Saint Maud will leave you on your knees. The satanic thriller is the debut feature from Rose Glass.
Described as “a chilling and boldly original vision of faith, madness, and salvation in a fallen world,” the film centers on Maud (Morfydd Clark, Love & Friendship), a newly devout hospice nurse, becomes obsessed with saving her dying patient’s soul. However, sinister forces and her own sinful past, threaten to put an end to her holy mission.
BAFTA-winning actress Jennifer Ehle (The Miseducation of Cameron Post) also stars.
Saint Maud, said to have the feel of films such as The Witch, Blackcoat’s Daughter, and Hereditary, will arrive in select theaters on April 1, 2020, followed by a wider release.
