New Line and Warner Bros. are officially back to ensure you never look at your family members the same way again. Evil Dead Burn, the highly anticipated sixth entry in the legendary, blood-drenched franchise, is locked, loaded, and ready to swallow your soul in theaters this July. To ensure our collective anxiety levels stay appropriately elevated, a new teaser has just been unleashed.

Grief Counseling via Deadites

Steering this new chapter into the flesh-possessing abyss is director Sébastien Vaniček. He’s the visionary mastermind who recently turned arachnophobia into an art form with the relentless creature-feature Infested. Vaniček co-wrote the screenplay alongside his Infested collaborator Florent Bernard, so audiences should expect the pacing to be absolutely merciless.

The narrative zeroes in on Alice, played by Souheila Yacoub (Dune: Part Two), a woman desperately processing the recent loss of her husband. Unfortunately for Alice, the Necronomicon has never been known to respect the grieving process. Soon enough, she finds herself fighting off a localized plague of cackling, levitating, deeply unpleasant Deadites.

The Target List

To maximize the onscreen body count, Vaniček has assembled a stellar, genre-fluent global ensemble that spans some major horror royalty. Facing off against the Kandarian demon are Tandi Wright (of Ti West’s Pearl fame), Hunter Doohan (Wednesday), and Errol Shand (Deathgasm). Maude Davey (The Leftovers), George Pullar (Stonefish), and Greta Van Den Brink (Territory) round out the cast.

The Keepers of the Cabin

Behind the scenes, the franchise’s sacred foundations remain perfectly intact. Original architects Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert are producing the film through their Ghost House Pictures banner.

And while Bruce Ca”pbell won’t be picking up the chainsaw for this particular round. However, the “King” himself is firmly attached as an executive producer. He is joined on the executive roster by Evil Dead Rise director Lee Cronin, Romel Adam, and Jose Canas.

Check out the terrifying new teaser right now to see exactly how Vaniček plans to wreck your nerves. Just make sure your calendar is completely clear for when Evil Dead Burn hits theaters on July 10, 2026—and maybe leave the lights on.
