The Steven Spielberg-produced horror thriller The Turning left critics with a sour taste in their mouths due to the film’s ending. Director Floria Sigismondi has now revealed that the Blu-ray will feature an alternative ending that may be a game-changer.
Finn Wolfhard, Mackenzie Davis, and Brooklynn Prince lead the cast.
“At a mysterious estate in the Maine countryside, newly appointed nanny Kate is charged with the care of two disturbed orphans, Flora and Miles. Quickly though, she discovers that both the children and the house are harboring dark secrets and things may not be as they appear.
Jade Bartlett penned the last version of the script by Chad and Carey Hayes (The Conjuring 2). Scott Bernstein and Roy Lee are producing. Stephen Spielberg is serving as executive producer for The Turning.
The Turning, an adaptation of The Turning of the Screw by Henry James, lands on Digital on April 7th, followed by its release on Blu-ray and DVD on April 21st.
