HBO wants to raise a little Hell! The network is currently developing a new Hellraiser series based on the 10 film franchise inspired by Clive Barker’s novella “The Hellbound Heart,” Variety has now confirmed.
Have no fear, the series is not a reboot, instead, it will be “an elevated expansion” of the franchise’s mythology.
Mark Verheiden and Michael Dougherty, whose credits include “Ash vs Evil Dead” and Godzilla: King of the Monsters, are writing the script with David Gordan Green (Halloween) attached to direct.
