Angela Bettis (Carrie, The Woman) makes her return to the genre in writer-director Brea Grant‘s (After Midnight) 12 Hour Shift. Ahead of Cannes comes the news that Magnet Releasing has snagged the worldwide rights to the horror-comedy about a group of nurses who are stealing organs to sell on the black market.
The first trailer features footage of a blood-drenched Bettis as well as David Arquette (Scream) brandishing a rather large knife.
“Nurse Mandy is just trying to make it through her double shift alive, but her nasty drug addiction, annoying coworkers, needy patients, and devious cousin are making it pretty tough, not to mention organ-stealing criminals and an injured convict.”
Mick Foley, Chloe Farnworth, Kit Williamson, Tara Perry, and Nikea Gamby-Turner also star.
Christina Arquette, David Arquette, Jordan Wayne Long, Tara Perry, and Matt Glass are producing 12 Hour Shift which features original music by Matt Glass.
