In celebration of its release, we’ve got several new monster-filled clips and conception art from the fun flick Love and Monsters, from the producer of “Stranger Things”!
Starring Dylan O’Brien (“Teen Wolf”), Jessica Henwick (Monster Problems), Michael Rooker (“The Walking Dead”), and Ariana Greenblatt ( Avengers: Infinity War), the movie is set seven years after the Monsterpocalypse. Joel Dawson (O’Brien), along with the rest of humanity, has been living underground ever since giant creatures took control of the land. After reconnecting over the radio with his high school girlfriend Aimee (Henwick), who is now 80 miles away at a coastal colony, Joel begins to fall for her again. As Joel realizes that there’s nothing left for him underground, he decides against all logic to venture out to Aimee, despite all the dangerous monsters that stand in his way.
Michael Matthews (Five Fingers For Marseilles) directed from the screenplay penned by Brian Duffield (Insurgent) and Matthew Robinson (Dora and the Lost City of Gold), based on a story by Duffield.
Shawn Levy and Dan Cohen (Arrival, “Stranger Things”) produce with John Strake (Sicario, Deadpool) serving as executive producer.
