Celebrate Halloween With New “Creepshow” Animated Special!

Shudder continues to expand the world of their hit series “Creepshow.” They are celebrating this Halloween with a new “Creepshow Animated Special,” set to arrive exclusively on the streaming horror/thriller service this Halloween Eve.

 

The animated special features adaptations of two stories written by Stephen King and his son Joe Hill and is directed by Greg Nicotero (“The Walking Dead”) and stars Kiefer Sutherland (“24,” The Lost Boys) and Joey King ( The Kissing Booth 2, “The Act”)

 

The first story is titled Survivor Type, it finds a man determined to survive alone on a deserted island no matter the cost. The second story, adapted by Melanie Dale, is Twittering from the Circus of the Dead, which centers on a teen on a road trip with her family who visits the gravest show on earth.

 

Season two of “Creepshow” recently began production. That’s not all, a new book has recently landed on shelves called “Creepshow: The Taker” from Scholastic.

 

Creepshow” is based on the 1982 film that has found renewed success after arriving on Shudder. So far, the series has been a hit and will continue to entertain fans for many seasons to come. If you haven’t seen season one of “Creepshow“, head over to Shudder now!
