Odds are you’ve heard the haunting song of the Cicada or seen the dried husks they shed and leave latched on to trees which look terrifying. Now imagine a swarm of those monster bugs, but they are giant and they are descending on a town, and they’re hungry for human flesh. From writer-director David Willis, the giant insect horror Cicada flies onto DVD and Digital this November from Wild Eye Releasing.

In Cicada, after an environmental disaster, four eccentric friends led by a disgraced baseball player must band together to defend Los Angeles from a swarm of bloodthirsty cicadas.
Jeffrey Ryan Kent, Cassandra Hein, Beau Crawford, Mike Nielsen, and Lawrence Mandle star in the film executive produced by Nasser Othman and Tom Diridon, with David Aguilera, Jon Tucker, David Willis, Jeffrey Ryan Kent, and Beau Crawford producing.
Cicada is out now on DVD and Digital.
