In the new image from Halloween Kills, Michael Myers escapes the inferno that Laurie lit in the final moments of Halloween. Shared by Empire, the image reminds us just how much of a badass Micheal still is and why he is still one of the biggest horror icons ever.
Director David Gordon Green is quoted by Empire, as saying, “This film is about community fear, paranoia, misinformation and crowd panic. This movie is a great popcorn genre movie and not really any kind of statement, but it’s strange how things line up. It couldn’t be a more interesting time to release a movie like this.”
Halloween Kills has a huge returning cast that includes Jamie Lee Curtis, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Robert Longstreet, and original Halloween actor Charles Cyphers who will be reprising his roles as Sheriff Leigh Brackett. Kyle Richards and Nancy Stephens will also be back. Anthony Michael Hall stars as Tommy Doyle.
Green co-wrote the script for the most highly anticipated horror film of 2021 along with Danny McBride and Scott Teems.
Halloween Kills is set to be unleashed in theaters on October 15, 2021.
