Movie Review: Death Trip (2021)

Kelly (Kelly Kay) has two things on her mind; nightmares and a pending party at a secluded locale owned by her pal Garrett’s (Garrett Johnson). I’ll bet demons to diamonds those two ingredients will be mixed together right quick! Ridin’ shotgun for the affair are Tatyana (Tatyana Olal) and Melina (Melina Trimarchi), and soon the whole gaggle o’ girls are downing Molson (this flick was created in the Great White North, eh?), smokin’ weed, and bitching about who’ll have to sleep in the room that served as Garett’s grand-pappy’s deathbed. Tourists Reported Missing At Infamous Dyatlov Pass

It was reported on February 10th that eight tourists from Moscow have failed to return from their visit to the infamous Dyatlov Pass a part of the Ural Mountain region. The tourists were said to have gone to the region to pay their respects to the group of nine college students who died under mysterious circumstances in February 1959 that sparked many theories as to what caused their deaths. The vanishing of the tourists comes a month after scientists believed to have solved the mystery and concluded that the students and experienced hikers were victims of a slab avalanche that was caused by the students cutting into the snow on a side of a hill that eventually, due to winds and snowfall, gave way and slid onto the tent catching the students by surprise and causing (internal) trauma to some of them that eventually proved fatal, and causing them to become stranded in freezing temperatures that ultimately took their lives.

Dave Bautista and Matthias Schweighofer Get Close In New ‘Army Of The Dead’ Image

Zach Snyder’s (Dawn of the Dead, Watchmen) new zombie movie Army of the Dead will be marching its way into theaters this summer. We’ve got some new images from the movie (via Empire) that shows Dave Bautista getting up close and personal with his co-star Matthias Schweighöfer. The movie is set after a zombie outbreak in Las Vegas, where a group of mercenaries takes the ultimate gamble, venturing into the quarantine zone to pull off the greatest heist ever attempted. New Trailer Is Found For The True Story Inspired Horror ‘The Widow’

Scream Factory’s soon to be released found-footage horror The Widow gives off a serious Blair Witch (2016) vibe in its new trailer. The true story-inspired film is set “in a densely forested area north of St. Petersburg, people have been going missing for three decades. ‘Predator 5’ Details Surface

New details surrounding the fifth installment of the Predator franchise have come to light. New ‘Paranormal Activity’ Movie Coming From Franchise Writer Christopher Landon

Christopher Landon, the man behind Happy Death Day and most recently the body swap horror Freaky (review) is returning to write the next installment of the Paranormal Activity franchise for Blumhouse. Landon was also behind the second, third, and fourth films of the franchise as well as 2014’s Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones. Get this, William Eubanks who recently brought us the deep-sea monster movie Underwater (review) will be in the director’s chair for the found footage flick, THR reports. According to THR, the project is “being described by insiders as an “unexpected retooling” of the franchise, being made by Paramount Players.” Franchise producer Oren Peli and Jason Blum of Blumhouse are on board to produce the new installment of Paranormal Activity which is slated to arrive on March 4, 2022.

Movie Review: Psycho Goreman (2020)

Everyone has been flappin’ their lascivious lips about what a great dive into the ol’ (decidedly comedic) horror biz Psycho Goreman is, so I had to set my eerie eyeballs upon it and give it the once over as only yours cruelly can… for better or for worse, your mileage may vary! After assing around in the backyard, siblings Mimi (Nita-Josee Hanna) and Luke (Owen Myre) unearth a strange jewel that is, in fact, a control module for an intergalactic murder machine (also buried in the backyard). Ultra Controversial Film ’29 Needles’ Available For Pre-Order From Unearthed Films

Unearthed Films has announced the latest addition to its “Too Extreme for Mainstream Line” (TEFM) collection, 29 Needles, which is now available on Blu-ray and DVD pre-order, but only 30 copies are available at this time. Exploring such topics as sadism, masochism, and one man’s ready descent into his personal hell, 29 Needles has all of the brutal nastiness you’d expect from a TEFM title, with subversive and beautiful, yet truly disturbing scenes.
