‘Dark State’ Soundtrack Released Along With The Psychological Thriller

 
 
The chilling psychological thriller Dark State from writer-director Tracy Lucca (The Finders), is out now from Atlas Distribution Company and Lucca Films in association with Creative Partners International & Realize Studios.
 
 
In the film, “Katie Marro is on the verge of becoming a movie star when her plans are brutally interrupted. While driving home to her small hometown, she is involved in a fatal car crash in which she is the only survivor. Alicia Gazzara, a local reporter at the Hammonton Herald, begins to write an article about the accident and the deceased passengers: a retired Army intelligence officer, an heir to a pharmaceutical fortune, and a self-confessed serial killer. As Alicia begins to investigate why these seemingly unconnected people would be together in the same car, a complicated picture begins to emerge. Eventually, Alicia uncovers connections deeper and more sinister than anyone in her small town could imagine. When events begin to turn deadly, Alicia must choose between helping Katie expose the truth or accepting the possibility that the world is ruled by a global network of ruthless insiders that is determined to wield power over all of mankind in a coming Dark State.”
 
 
The cast includes Constantine Maroulis (“American Idol, “ Rock of Ages),  Nicholas Baroudi (Fosse/Verdon, “Person of Interest”), Katie Stahl (Under the Flowers, The Finders), Melissa Connell (Under the Flowers: Circle of Hell, Control), Greg Wood (The Sixth Sense, Signs), Antoni Corone (Bad Boys II, We Own the Night), Jared Delaney (The Story of Penny), Kim Carson (The Finders), Ariana Ballerini (Harry Godfather, 7^th Secret), and  K. O’Rourke who is making her feature debut.
 
 
Along with the film, the soundtrack is now available from Realize Records on all major streaming and download platforms including iTunes, Spotify, Amazon, and Tidal, among others.
 
 
The soundtrack features both rising and seasoned indie artists from LA, Philadelphia, London, DC, Maryland, and Delaware. Songs include LA rapper/actor Ricky Kent’s underground hit Kill Switch along with a new previously unreleased track  Bad Luck, vocal powerhouse singer/songwriter/producer Paul Lewis’  eery new take on the folk classic In The Pines, London’s L.U.V.’s techno-rock single Dirty Sweet and three new songs including the new single Black featuring the multidimensional eclectic genre-bending duo Romeo Rage. Additional Songwriters and Producers Include Alysia Reid, Michel Grey, Nashville’s legendary award-winning songwriter/producer Robert Venable,  Los Angeles’ hip/hop/rap beatmaker/producer Derek Stockwell and the multifaceted songwriter/producer Josh Ricchio, and London/LA’s magnetic producer/songwriter Jimmy Sweet. The film’s original score was composed by Paul Lewis.
