At Television Critics Association’s 2023 Winter Press Tour, Michael Wright, head of MGM+ (formerly known as EPIX), revealed the upcoming lineup as well as the development slate. The list of forthcoming titles includes the second season of one of our favorite series, “From.”

“It’s a new beginning for our service, as we introduce MGM+ and its distinctive brand promise to viewers on January 15. MGM+ will deliver on its iconic and beloved studio legacy, with cinematic, sophisticated, and transportive storytelling that audiences love,” said Michael Wright. “We are growing our rich library of content, comprised of original television series and blockbuster films that celebrate the MGM brand.”

From” is set in a nightmarish monster and mystery-filled town that traps everyone who enters it. In season two, “hidden truths about the nature and terrifying origins of the town begin to emerge, even as life for its residents is plunged into chaos by the arrival of mysterious newcomers.”

From” stars Harold Perrineau (Lost), who discussed the first season with us in an interview. The cast also includes Eion Bailey (Band of Brothers), Catalina Sandino Moreno (The Affair), Hannah Cheramy (Colossal), Simon Webster (Chucky), Ricky He (The Good Doctor), David Alpay (Castle Rock), Elizabeth Saunders (Clarice), and more.

The series was created by John Griffin (Crater), who executive produces along with director Jack Bender (Lost, Game of Thrones) and showrunner Jeff Pinkner (Fringe, Lost).

From,” whose first season we called “one of the year’s bests,” returns on April 23, 2023, for another season filled with chills and thrills.
