A fresh new take on Mary Shelley’s class novel Frankenstein is heading to Netflix. Titled “Creature,” the Turkish (English subtitled) series is set to premiere this Halloween season.
In the series set in Istanbul during the Ottoman era, when tragedy occurs, a reckless scientist uses untested methods to finish his work – with devastating consequences.
Erkan Kolçak Köstendil stars as İhsan, and Taner Ölmez as Ziya. The cast also includes Engin Benli, Şifanur Gül, Sema Çeyrekbaşı, Bülent Şakrak, and Devrim Yakut. “Creature” was created, written, and directed by Çagan Irmak (Remember Us).
“Creature” is set to debut on Netflix on October 20, 2023. Watch the new trailer below.
