The critically acclaimed South Korean horror-thriller Exhuma arrives on Digital soon courtesy of Well Go USA Entertainment next month. Here’s what you need to know.

The film follows a team of paranormal experts brought together to investigate a mysterious illness plaguing a family’s firstborn children. Led by a renowned shaman and her protégé,  the team includes a mortician and the country’s most respected geomancer. Their investigation leads them to a long-forgotten family grave on sacred ground and a chilling realization – disturbing the wrong burial site can unleash unimaginable consequences.

Directed by Jang Jae-Hyun (Svaha: The Sixth Finger), Exhuma boasts a powerhouse cast of Korean stars. Choi Min-Sik, known for his intense performances in Oldboy and I Saw the Devil, takes on the role of the revered geomancer. Hyun is joined by Kim Go-Eun (Hero, Little Women), Yoo Hai-Jin (A Taxi Driver), and Lee Do-Hyun (“Sweet Home”).

Exhuma isn’t just chilling; it’s award-winning. The film secured the Art Award at the 2024 Baek Sang Art Awards and swept the acting categories, winning Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best New Actor.
