Prepare to be horrified by the first trailer for Ryan Murphy‘s latest horror series, “Grotesquerie,” which follows a detective coping with her demons while hunting for a brutal killer.

The series stars Niecy Nash as Detective Lois Tyron. It follows the seasoned detective as she teams up with nun and crime journalist Sister Megan (Micaela Diamond) to investigate a particularly gruesome series of murders.

NFL star and Taylor Swift partner Travis Kelce is set to star alongside Courtney B. Vance, Lesley Manville, Nicholas Alexander Chavez, Raven Goodwin, and Amber Riley.

Kelce introduced the trailer, which comes with a mature content warning. This hints at the disturbing content to come, which we’ve come to expect from Murphy after delivering chilling series like “American Horror Story,  “American Horror Stories,” as well as “Monster” and “The Watcher,” which are both getting second seasons on Netflix.

Grotesquerie” season one features ten unnerving episodes written by Murphy, Jon Robin Baitz, and Joe Baken. The first two episodes will premiere on FX on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. The remaining eight episodes will debut on Wednesdays through November 20, 2024. Each episode will be available to stream on Hulu the day after it premieres on FX. Are you ready?
