True crime fans, it’s time to update your watchlists. Investigation Discovery is rolling out a heavy-hitting July slate, packed with betrayals, body cams, and highly suspicious emergency calls.

Leading the charge is the return of the Jennifer Love Hewitt-executive-produced and narrated hit, A Killer Among Friends. There are also fresh seasons of fan-favorites Body Cam and 911: Did the Killer Call?

Odds are you will recognize Hewitt from her many roles in the horror/supernatural genre. Before her role in the massive hit series The Ghost Whisperer, she starred in I Know What You Did Last Summer. She also recently returned for the new I Know What You Did Last Summer. Now, she is a series regular on another amazing series, 9-1-1.

Here is your breakdown of what’s coming to ID (and streaming on Max) this month.

It proves that the deadliest secrets usually lurk right in plain sight.

‘Body Cam’ (New Season)

Premiere Wednesday, July15, 9 PM ET/PT

Returning for another raw, fast-moving season, Body Cam places viewers directly into the boots of law enforcement officers making split-second, life-or-death decisions.

The intense season premiere, “Mission Critical,” tackles three high-stakes cases right out of the gate: a perilous high-speed chase in Maryland involving a notoriously dangerous driver, a tense bank-robbery hunt in Georgia, and a lone officer stepping directly into a firefight with an armed suspect in Wisconsin.

‘911: Did the Killer Call?’ (New Season)

Premieres Wednesday, July 1, 10 PM ET/PT

Every episode of this gripping series unpacks three different 911 calls where the callers all fiercely claim innocence—but the audio recordings contain subtle, damning clues that completely flip the case on its head.

The season kicks off with “Friends in Greed,” where a couple calls emergency services after finding their friend shot dead. The catch? The police suspect the killer is currently on the line.
