Just when you thought the slasher sub-genre couldn’t get any weirder, along comes an unhinged killer right off the page.
Lightbulb Film Distribution has unleashed a brand-new, bloody Red Band trailer for Big Baby—the meta-slasher written and directed by Powerman 5000 mastermind Spider One—ahead of its official UK premiere at Tubi FrightFest London on August 27, 2026.
Adding even more surreal pop-culture juice to the project, legendary Oscar-winner Cher serves as an Executive Producer on the film.
Nightmares on the Page Come to Life
The horror-comedy follows a struggling screenwriter whose recurring, feverish nightmares about a giant, maniacal killer wearing an eerie baby mask become the foundation for his newest script. But as his personal life begins to spiral out of control, he makes a terrifying discovery: Big Baby’s blood-soaked rampage isn’t staying on the page anymore.

A Powerhouse Genre Cast
The film packs an absolute powerhouse roster of horror favorites. It stars Brandon Scott (Descendant), Krsy Fox (Little Bites), Catherine Corcoran (Terrifier), and David Howard Thornton (best known as Art the Clown in the Terrifier franchise). The film marks a reunion for Spider One and actors Adam Marcinowski and Chaz Bono (American Horror Story), whom we interviewed about the film Bury the Bride.

Following its August 27 bow at FrightFest, Big Baby won’t keep fans waiting long to take the madness home. Lightbulb Film Distribution will release the movie across Digital, DVD, and Blu-ray on September 7, 2026.
