Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is resurrecting Neil Jordan’s gothic 1994 masterpiece in glorious 4K resolution this September. Fans will be able to sink their teeth into the newly remastered film via both Digital 4K and a shiny 4K UHD Blu-ray disc.
The Original
Based on Anne Rice’s iconic novel, the film features Tom Cruise at his most unhinged as Lestat. A beautifully brooding Brad Pitt stars as Louis. The stellar ensemble cast also includes Christian Slater, Antonio Banderas, Stephen Rea, and a scene-stealing young Kirsten Dunst. Nominated for two Academy Awards (Best Original Score and Best Art Direction), the film remains a high-water mark for mid-’90s cinematic decadence.
