Godzilla and King Kong are back in the sequel Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire, whose first teaser trailer is here.
Adam Wingard is back in the director’s chair for the sequel to 2012’s action-packed film that pits the two Titans against each other.
Wingard is not the only one returning. Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, and Kaylee Hottle are also back and are joined by new cast members Dan Stevens (“Downtown Abbey”), Fala Chen (Marvel’s Shang-Chi), and Rachel House (Thor: Ragnarok).
In The New Empire, Godzilla and Kong must “team up to face a world-ending threat so terrifying that neither could survive alone,” according to THR.
Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire is set to fight its way into theaters on March 14, 2024. At the moment, that’s all we know, but don’t worry; we’ll keep you posted as more details come to light.
