While we eagerly await the release of Osgood Perkins‘ serial killer film Longlegs, starring Nicolas Cage, the director is already prepping his next chilling project: Keeper. Perkins, known for his masterful horror films like The Blackcoat’s Daughter and Gretel & Hansel, brings his signature style to Keeper.

Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) and Rossif Sutherland (Possessor) headline the film. Maslany plays Liz, while Sutherland portrays Malcolm, a couple seeking a romantic getaway at a secluded cabin.

Their idyllic escape takes a sinister turn when Malcolm abruptly leaves, leaving Liz alone and vulnerable. Isolated and facing an unspeakable evil, Liz must confront the cabin’s horrifying secrets to survive.

Nick Lepard‘s screenplay promises a suspenseful journey into the cabin’s dark heart. With Perkins at the helm and a talented cast, Keeper is sure to send shivers down your spine.

First, prepare to be captivated by Longlegs, hitting theaters on July 12th. Then, keep an eye out for Keeper, a chilling tale waiting to unfold.

Longlegs centers on FBI rookie Agent Lee Harker. Harker races against time to save another potential victim from a killer only as “the man downstairs.” As she delves deeper into the case, Harker discovers a horrifying truth—she has a shocking connection to the killer’s twisted game.
