FOUND TV just dropped the teaser for A Possession in Lincoln County, which marks the platform’s first-ever in-house original production. The husband-and-wife duo Louie and Monica La Vella are the creative force behind it. They previously produced the screenlife horror hit Invited.

A Desperate Deal with the Devil

The story follows Jake, a husband pushed to his moral breaking point. He performs a demonic ritual to save his dying wife, Juliet. Naturally, the underworld doesn’t play fair. Jake quickly learns that hell doesn’t give second chances. It simply takes souls instead.

Meet the Victims

The film features a tight ensemble of emerging genre talent. Matt Gallagher stars alongside Sabrina Knappett, who plays Juliet, the ailing wife at the center of the chaos. Hannah Brennen and JoAnn Bundock round out the cast.

Pure Indie Spirit

The project was filmed on a lean $10,000 budget and reflects the gritty, resourceful spirit of the found footage genre. Louie La Vella wants to prove that vision matters more than money.

“This film was about proving what’s possible within the genre,” said Louie La Vella, director of
the film. “We wanted to make something that felt true to indie found footage at its core.
Something made with limited resources, but a clear vision. We believe that with the right skills,
anyone can be a filmmaker.”
