To celebrate Halloween, Audacy and NEW 102.7 FM are kicking off the Spooky Season Trail. It’s a month-long, four-part video and radio series exploring iconic New Jersey horror locations.
The campaign culminates in an extraordinary sweepstakes opening October 5th. One lucky grand-prize winner will score an overnight trip to New Jersey featuring an exclusive Crystal Lake Tour of Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco. It’s the real private summer camp where Sean S. Peacock and A24 are gearing up for the premiere of “Crystal Lake,” the upcoming prequel series aiming to rebuild the slasher mythos from the ground up.
A Stellar Cast Reimagines the Legend
The upcoming eight-episode series boasts a phenomenal ensemble led by Linda Cardellini (Dead to Me), who steps into the tragic, complex role of Pamela Voorhees in the years following her son’s drowning. Callum Vinson portrays a young Jason Voorhees, while Cameron Scoggins plays Officer Dorf. Nick Cordileone takes over as the infamous town doom-prophet, “Crazy Ralph.”
The main cast is further bolstered by William Catlett, Devin Kessler, Gwendolyn Sundstrom, Joy Suprano, Danielle Kotch, and Phoenix Parnevik. With an expanded Friday the 13th universe officially in active development, “Crystal Lake” promises a blood-soaked return to horror’s roots. It premieres on Peacock this October 15th!
