Before heading to Cannes, Clay Staub’s film Devil’s Gate got a new title, Abduction. Staub, who was the second unit director for Dawn of the Dead, makes his genre debut with this suspense thriller, which he co-wrote with Peter Aperlo.

Milo Ventimiglia (Heroes) stars alongside 12 Monkeys’ actress Amanda Schull, Jonathan Frakes (Star Trek: Nemesis), Bridget Regan, Shawn Ashmore, Javier Botet and Scott Johnson.
Set in a small town, the film follows an FBI Agent (Schull) who has come to investigate the disappearance of the wife (Bridget Regan) and son of a local rancher. A local deputy, played by Shawn Ashmore, is forced to work with the agent whose presence makes the town’s sheriff (Jonathan Frakes) nervous.

The trailer for Abduction has not been released, but we do have a clip.
