The teaser trailer for Luciano and Nicolás Onetti’s What the Waters Left Behind (Los Olvidados), which premiered at Cannes, is insane (in a good way).
The film centers on a group of young people on a trip to the ruins to make a documentary about Epecuén. Ignoring the warnings during a tour, they end up stranded in the abandoned village. Soon, they realize that they are not alone…
Victoria Maurette, Pablo Guisa Koestinger, Victor D’Alessandro, Mirta Busnelli, and Chucko Fernandez star in this slasher with a serious Texas Chainsaw Massacre feel.
