Hulu has unveiled a disturbing new teaser for “Castle Rock”, along with the premiere date for the series based on Stephen King’s literary universe.
The new teaser reveals a series of disturbing images, including a suicidal mascot, and tells of a secret that has the town’s residents, “trapped in a cycle that stretches back centuries”. “There’s blood in every backyard, inside every house.”
Andre Holland (Moonlight), Bill Skarsgard, Sissy Spacek, Melanie Lynskey, and Jane Levy star in the 10-episode first season.
Stephen King is executive producing the series with J. J. Abrams, Ben Stephenson, and Liz Glotzer. The series was created by Sam Shaw and Dustin Thomason.
“Castle Rock” makes its debut on July 25, 2018, on Hulu.
