Oscar nominee and ‘Maggie’ actress Abigail Breslin stars in ‘Final Girl’, Director Tyler Shield’s beautiful and elegantly executed take on the slasher genre. Shield’s made his directorial debut with ‘Final Girl’, but is known for his photography. Some of the subjects of his photos include the Hollywood elite.
A group of handsome young serial killers, have created a game where they take a young woman deep in the woods and hunt her. They have no idea of the mistake they have made by targeting Veronica (Breslin). Veronica is not your average young lady, she’s a killer in training and she’s about to turn their game on it’s head.
The cast for this intense film includes ‘Vikings’ stars Alexander Ludwig, Wes Bentley (The Hunger Games), Cameron Bright of ‘The Twilight Saga’, and Francesca Eastwood (Jersey Boys). the daughter of legendary actor Clint Eastwood.
‘Final Girl’ is unique in the fact that there is no CGI, no fake effects. The fights were real, everything down to the shivering from the cold was real, all with Shields’ goal to make the performances as authentic as possible.
‘Final Girl’ will debut in select theaters and VOD on August 14th.
