Paranormal investigators, exploring the old Kuhn Memorial State Hospital in Vicksburg, found more than they were bargaining for when they discovered a dead body on the grounds of the hospital late last night. Vicksburg Police Chief Walter Armstrong stated that the body was that of a woman in her 60’s. The death is being ruled a homicide by the Warren County Coroner, who suspects the cause of death is blunt force trauma.
The body does match the description of a 69 year old woman who has gone missing, but due to the state of the remains, further testing is required. Two men have been taken into custody who confessed that they did abduct the missing woman Saturday night, but claim they did drop her off at a location alive.
The hospital, where the Paranormal investigators found the body, has been vacant since 1989. The grounds are rumored to be haunted by many. The hospital was also used as a filming location for a horror movie.
