Darren Bousman’s Spiral: From the Book of Saw has revived the iconic franchise. Now, a new sequel to the franchise is coming and fans are going to be thrilled, franchise star Tobin Bell, Jigsaw himself, is returning for the 10th Saw movie which was teased by co-writer Josh Stolberg earlier this year.
Kevin Greutert, who was behind Saw VI and Saw: The Final Chapter and who edited Saw through Saw V, is set to direct the new yet-to-be-named sequel.
There’s more exciting news, the new movie, which begins production next month, already has a release date, set by Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures, for October 27, 2023.
Jigsaw was killed off in Saw III so it’s going to be interesting to see how they bring him back. We are guessing he will be featured in flashbacks unless his death was a fake-out.
So far, Bell is the only cast member listed for the movie, but we’ll let you know when we learn more.
